Venmo’s simplicity and convenience has driven its rapid growth to more than 80 million users.
New school meets old school
Venmo introduced an innovative new Mastercard to complement its core product. But digital marketing alone was not delivering new credit card accounts quickly enough. Venmo decided to find out whether direct mail could be the answer. DMG was tapped to design a break‑through direct mail package that would supplement the digital strategy. Direct mail tests were a success and the open rates were surprisingly strong—stronger than every other platform—for a product that is strictly digital.
